Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a range of vehicles including buses, vans, and sedans to transport clients across North Brisbane
  • Deliver door-through-door transport services, ensuring clients feel supported from their home to their destination and back
  • Plan and review daily transport schedules to accommodate appointments, shopping outings, and group activities
  • Provide friendly, professional, and timely service to all clients, treating each journey as an opportunity to brighten someone’s day

  • Support the unique “home on request” service, giving clients the flexibility to return home whenever they choose during group outings

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current Light Rigid licence as a minimum. A Driver’s Authorisation is required, or you must be willing to obtain one. Previous experience driving vans or buses is highly regarded. You will need a current National Police Check, First Aid Certificate, and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain these before starting. Beyond the formal requirements, we are looking for someone reliable, caring, and comfortable engaging with older adults. The ability to work independently, adapt to changing schedules, and bring a positive, solutions-focused attitude to your day is essential.
