Location & Work Type

  • Location: Mairangi Bay, Auckland, New Zealand (on-site role with occasional local travel for deliveries)
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Additional hours may be available. Flexible scheduling options can be discussed for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities

  • Use MIG and TIG welding to join stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel parts
  • Read and follow engineering drawings and sketches accurately
  • Operate workshop machines like the guillotine, press brake, and punch
  • Build custom metal pieces for shopfitting, furniture, and other projects
  • Check finished work to make sure it meets quality standards
  • Help with loading and delivering products when needed
  • Keep the workshop clean and follow safety rules at all times
  • Work with the team to complete jobs on time and to a high standard

Requirements

  • TFW needs you to have experience with MIG and TIG welding.
  • They want someone who can read and understand engineering drawings.
