Key Responsibilities

In this multifaceted role, you will be central to our warehouse’s repair and overhaul operations. Your key duties will include:

  • Coordinating daily workload planning for warehouse repair, overhaul, shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities.
  • Investigating equipment prices and availability, and processing material returns using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Assisting the Warehouse Manager in developing team skills, maintaining processes, and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Generating reports to provide key metrics on repair and overhaul performance.
  • Participating in internal/external audits and engaging with contractors to meet operational needs.
  • Upholding all occupational health and safety standards and participating in safety committees or emergency response teams.
  • Maintaining documentation control and ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who brings:

  • A minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a Supply Chain-Logistics certification is a strong asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment in a similar coordination or specialist role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems (IFS experience is an asset).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Knowledge of warehousing, stock control, inventory management, and documentation control.
  • Experience with DND supply chain processes and DRMIS is a significant advantage.
  • Operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is an asset (training provided).
  • Must be eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
  • Flexibility for varied work hours, including potential early mornings, late afternoons, and on-call weekends.
