Key Responsibilities
As an MR or HR Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable and secure deliveries.
- Complete local metro deliveries and pickups across the Adelaide region.
- Deliver Asahi consignments to customer sites including distribution centres, shopping centres, wholesalers, and businesses.
- Safely load and unload trucks manually, securing loads in line with company procedures.
- Carry out pre-start checks and maintain accurate records using a PDA system.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong, positive relationships with clients.
- Ensure secure and timely delivery of items within set timeframes.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and security requirements at all times.
- Perform occasional shuttle runs or ad hoc deliveries as required.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for a driver with the appropriate licence, physical capability, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Essential Requirements:
- A current and valid MR or HR licence.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg manually during loading and unloading.
- Strong focus on safety, reliability, and punctuality.
- Flexibility to meet delivery schedules and time constraints.
- Professional presentation and pride in your work.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to provide a recent Driving Record and undergo Security Clearance.
Preferred (But Not Essential):
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving.
- Familiarity with the Adelaide metro area and local roads.
- Experience using PDA systems or delivery tracking technology.
