Key Responsibilities
- Set up and take down gear for events, like tents, tables, and inflatable play areas
- Load and unload tools, supplies, and equipment using hand trucks or pallet jacks
- Use basic tools like rakes, shovels, and brooms to clean and fix campgrounds and park areas
- Help keep cabins, campsites, and rental areas clean and ready for visitors
- Operate power tools and yard equipment like lawnmowers, blowers, and weed trimmers
- Check and maintain tools and equipment to make sure everything works safely
- Assist customers when they pick up or return rental gear
- Help clean and wax vehicles used for campground and event support
- Follow all safety rules while working with tools, chemicals, or outdoor equipment
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to get a forklift license and 4-ton truck license within 90 days
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical
- Can work some weekends, holidays, and late shifts
- Knows how to use tools like rakes, hammers, wrenches, and power yard equipment
- Can lift, move, and organize gear and supplies
- Basic math skills to help with inventory
- Good at following directions and staying safe on the job
- Friendly attitude and able to help all kinds of customers
- Preferred Skills
- Experience using landscaping tools or power equipment
- Basic maintenance or repair skills
- Able to build or set up simple equipment
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Training is available for some tasks, so a willingness to learn is welcome
