About the Role And Work Environment

This is a hands-on production role within a dynamic manufacturing setting. You will work with various plastics and composite materials, using tools and machinery to fabricate parts that meet precise specifications. The work environment is active and requires physical stamina. We are looking for candidates who are reliable and willing to learn, with potential for growth within our operations. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will be integral to our production process, ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Operating machinery and using hand tools to cut, shape, splice, and fit plastic materials according to technical specifications.
  • Assembling composite materials on patterns to build parts and sub-assemblies accurately.
  • Conducting thorough visual and manual inspections of finished plastic products to identify defects and ensure they meet all quality standards.
  • Marking defective products and routing them appropriately for repair or recycling.
  • Performing minor adjustments and repairs to products as needed.
  • Working with equipment such as grinders, trimmer tools, and spray gun units following safety protocols.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

The Skills And Physical Capabilities You Bring

We are prepared to train the right person who demonstrates a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Secondary (High) School graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • The ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Physical capability for demanding work: handling loads up to 50 lbs (23 kg), standing for extended periods, and frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • The stamina to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
  • Reliability and own transportation to get to work.
  • A willingness to learn and follow precise instructions and safety procedures.

Experience with hand tools or machinery is an asset, but not required we provide full training.
