Location and Work Type

- Working Conditions: On-site fieldwork (outdoor, physical, weather-adaptable)

Key Responsibilities
As a Class 2–5 Driver and Excavator Operator, you will:
- Operate trucks (Class 2–5 license) and heavy plant machinery including excavators, rollers, and graders
- Perform road maintenance and civil construction duties throughout the Auckland region
- Transport materials and equipment safely to and from worksites
- Use hand tools and manual labor where required to complete tasks
- Adhere to strict health and safety procedures on all worksites
- Collaborate with your team and site supervisors to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Conduct basic machinery checks and maintenance
- Support the delivery of projects on time, on budget, and to specification
Skills and Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
- Full Class 2, 3, 4, or 5 NZ Driver’s Licence
- Proven experience in civil road construction or maintenance
- Physically fit and able to handle hands-on, outdoor work
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
Preferred Skills
- WTR endorsements (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers)
- Experience using graders, rollers, excavators, or tip trucks
- Basic mechanical understanding of truck and machinery functions
- Traffic control or road maintenance certifications (STMS or TTM)
- Experience working in Auckland infrastructure projects
