Positions Available
We’re currently seeking owner-drivers for the following vehicle types:
- 1T Van – Ideal for smaller deliveries and efficient urban routes
- 2T Van – Perfect for medium-sized loads and general courier work
- 4T Truck – Moving Van (C-licence) – Suited for larger deliveries and heavy-duty routes
Each position offers permanent set runs with familiar clients, stable weekly hours, and the opportunity to take on additional work over time.
Key Responsibilities
As an Ontime owner-driver, you’ll be the face of our company, delivering exceptional service to clients across the Perth metro area.
- Complete permanent delivery runs and early-morning bakery routes with efficiency and reliability.
- Build positive relationships with familiar clients and end customers, representing Ontime professionally at every stop.
- Maintain your commercial delivery vehicle to a high standard, ensuring it’s clean, safe, and ready for daily operations.
- Follow all company procedures and safety protocols, delivering parcels securely and on time.
- Use technology and tracking systems as required to maintain accurate delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and supervisors, reporting any issues or delays promptly.
- Take advantage of growth opportunities by taking on additional general delivery work as it becomes available.
What You’ll Need
To succeed as an Ontime owner-driver, you’ll need the following:
Essential Requirements:
- A commercial delivery vehicle less than 8 years old (1T van, 2T van, or 4T truck-moving van). Please note: passenger vehicles such as hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, or utes are not suitable for this role.
- An ACN and ABN (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence appropriate for your vehicle type.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
New to the courier industry? No problem! We can guide you through getting started, including advice on purchasing a suitable commercial vehicle and setting up your owner-driver business.
