Seeking a reliable and diligent individual to join our team as a Club Facility Cleaner. Orange Ex-Services’ Club is looking for a dedicated professional to help us maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation our members and guests expect. This is a permanent part-time role within a supportive team, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and values a safe, well-kept environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our facilities team, your role will involve a variety of tasks to ensure our club remains spotless and inviting. Your duties will include:

• Performing a wide range of cleaning tasks across the club’s commercial premises, including public areas, restrooms, and function spaces.
• Using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment to maintain a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
• Completing manual handling duties as required, including moving furniture and equipment for cleaning or events.
• Adhering strictly to all safe work practices and club safety protocols.
• Demonstrating flexibility in your daily routine to meet the operational needs of a dynamic club environment.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• Proven experience with commercial cleaning methods and standards.
• A good level of physical fitness to perform manual tasks safely and effectively.
• A current NSW driver’s licence.
• Availability to work weekends, as this is a requirement of the role.
• A strong commitment to safe work practices and a keen eye for detail.
• Reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Position Details and Benefits

This is a permanent part-time position offering stability and fair remuneration.

• Employment terms are in accordance with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020, Permanent Level 2.
• Salary Ranges 17$ per hr depends on experience
• You will be joining a supportive team environment within a respected community club.
• The successful applicant will undergo a National Criminal History Check, which will be paid for by the club.
