Care Worker Uniting Australia

A part-time care worker position is open at the Uniting aged care home in Kingscliff. This isn’t a corporate desk job — it’s hands-on and personal. You’ll be helping older residents in their daily routines: meals, showers, a bit of walking around, or sometimes just sitting with them when they need company. Some of the residents will need a hand with medication or simple wound care. Shifts vary, and the team is easy to get along with. It’s the kind of place where people pitch in and check in on one another. No big degrees required — if you’ve got a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, that’s a plus, but if not, there might be help to get you started. Experience matters, but kindness and patience matter more.

About Uniting

Uniting is a community-focused care provider based in NSW and the ACT. It operates aged care homes, disability services, family support programs, and more. In Kingscliff, the site has three separate living households, including a Memory Support Unit designed for residents living with dementia. The idea is to create a home-like atmosphere rather than an institutional one. People are encouraged to live their own day, their own way — and care workers help make that happen. If you’re someone who wants to be part of that kind of environment, this role might suit you well.
