Key Responsibilities
In this key operational role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our workshop processes. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Safely handling, treating, and processing various chemical materials in accordance with strict procedures.
- Operating and monitoring specialised refinery and laboratory equipment as trained.
- Accurately identifying different products and following the correct processing steps for each.
- Maintaining a impeccably clean, safe, and organised workshop environment at all times.
- Rigorously following all documented health & safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to ensure everyone’s wellbeing.
Qualifications
We are looking for a dependable individual with the right attitude and capability. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A practical, mechanically-minded approach and a strong commitment to safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in following written instructions.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude for working effectively within a team.
- The physical ability to perform manual handling tasks with items up to 20kg.
- While experience in manufacturing, production, a foundry, or a lab is beneficial, it is not essential—we provide full training.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand and willingness to undergo a required police check.
