Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and check deliveries of stores and materials to make sure everything is correct and in good condition.
  • Store items safely and neatly so they are easy to find when needed.
  • Pick and pack orders carefully to prepare shipments for delivery to regional depots.
  • Load and unload freight from trucks, making sure to handle all items with care.
  • Use forklifts and other equipment to move heavy materials safely around the warehouse.
  • Carry out regular stock counts and report any differences to the supervisor.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and tidy every day to make sure it is safe and organized.
  • Inspect tools and equipment regularly to make sure they are working well and safe to use.
  • Follow all safety rules and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Work well alone or with a team to get the job done on time and without problems.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, stock, and equipment checks.

Requirements

  • Must Have Skills
  • Hold a Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or have proven experience doing similar work.
  • Have a valid Driver’s Licence to drive company vehicles safely.
  • Have a Forklift Licence and be able to operate forklifts properly and safely.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a Heavy Combination (HC) Licence to drive larger vehicles, if possible.
