Warehouse Assistant Required In New Zealand

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in all core warehouse functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your duties will include:

Working across inwards goods, inventory management, and dispatch processes.
Safely and efficiently operating both reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts for loading, unloading, and stock movement.
Ensuring accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders.
Maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and warehouse organisation.
Adhering strictly to all health and safety protocols and safe working practices.
Utilizing computer systems for data entry and inventory management.
Contributing to a positive, productive, and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this hands-on role, you will need:

A current forklift licence with proven, competent experience operating both Reach Trucks and Counterbalance forklifts.
A clean, full New Zealand driver’s licence.
NZ residency or a valid work visa with permanent eligibility.
Reliability, punctuality, and strong self-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Good computer literacy and numeracy skills.
Physical fitness for a warehouse environment.
MPI Accreditation is preferred but not essential.
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screen, and Police Check.
