Location & Work Type

  • Location: 61 Seletar Aerospace View, Singapore
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Shifts: Rotating shifts, including day and night, with possible overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding to repair and refurbish aircraft engine parts following quality standards.
  • Support cell operations like benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, and cold working.
  • Learn and operate new automation machines when trained.
  • Follow all safety rules and attend environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) training programs.
  • Help with continuous improvement programs called CORE to make work better and faster.
  • Read and understand technical drawings and standard operating procedures (SOP) to do work correctly.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure tasks are done on time and meet quality checks.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Have a GCE ’O’ Level or NITEC diploma in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with TIG welding on metal parts.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings and follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Willing to learn new welding methods and ways to improve work.
  • Careful and pays close attention to details to make sure work is done well.
  • Comfortable working hands-on and in a team environment.
  • Ready to work rotating shifts, including day and night, and able to do overtime when needed.
  • Good at following safety rules and taking part in safety training programs.

Required Experience

  • Have at least 3 years of experience working with TIG welding on metal parts, especially in repairing and rebuilding aircraft engine components.
  • Experience supporting different production processes like benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, and cold working is important.
  • Know how to read and follow technical drawings and standard operating procedures (SOP) to do the work correctly.
  • Experience working in a safety-focused environment and following all health and safety rules.
  • Able to work in a team and communicate well with others to meet work goals.
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts, including day and night, and willing to do overtime when needed.
  • Experience using or learning automation machines for welding or related tasks is a plus.
