Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the trusted design advisor for our customers, guiding them through the exciting process of personalising their new home.
- Consult with customers to understand their lifestyle, style preferences, and budget, then advise and guide them through selections for exteriors, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, and interior features.
- Accurately manage all customer documentation, ensure detailed file notes are completed after each appointment, and liaise with internal departments to resolve any customer queries.
- Ensure our Retail Centre is always immaculately presented, maintaining displays to the highest standard to inspire customers.
- Continuously build your knowledge of materials, display homes, and current design trends to provide the most relevant and up-to-date advice.
- Actively participate in projects aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience and efficiency of our service.
Qualifications
We are looking for an energetic and relationship-driven individual who combines design sensibility with superb people skills.
- A fun, energetic, and approachable attitude is essential, along with exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse customer base.
- An Interior Design qualification or similar is highly desirable, but a proven passion for home building and interiors is paramount.
- The ability to read and interpret residential building plans is important for providing accurate and practical advice.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the competency to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a high standard of personal presentation.
- A self-driven, proactive work ethic and a collaborative team spirit.
