Key Responsibilities
You will be entrusted with the safe and efficient delivery of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating tractor-trailers and Long Combination Vehicles (LCVs) for long-distance deliveries across Eastern Canada.
- Conducting thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all safety and handling conditions are met before every route.
- Safely unloading trailers using hand carts or by palletizing cases at customer locations and Frito Lay facilities.
- Maintaining accurate logs and documentation in full compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Providing excellent, professional customer service during every delivery interaction.
- Adhering to all traffic laws, commercial vehicle regulations, and our strict food safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience.
- The ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and a reliable, professional disposition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to be customer-focused and a team player.
- Physical capability to handle unloading duties, as the average case weight is approximately 4 kgs.
- A proven commitment to safety and the ability to complete routes in varied driving conditions.
