What You Will Be Doing
- Operate a motor grader for paving and heavy civil construction projects.
- Work from a strong understanding of grade, elevation, and layout.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and place grade stakes as necessary.
- Utilize GPS or laser grade systems (preferred).
- Work long hours, early mornings, and some Saturdays as required.
- Perform duties outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Contribute to the success of projects for municipalities, contractors, and residential clients.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience operating a motor grader in paving or heavy civil construction is a must.
- Strong understanding of grade, elevation, and layout.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and place grade stakes.
- Experience with GPS or laser grade systems preferred.
- Willingness to work long hours, early mornings, and some Saturdays.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- CDL A license is required.
- Ability to commute to and relocate before starting work in Litchfield, CT 06759.
