Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the smooth, precise operation of our advanced processing systems.
- Your primary duty will be the hands-on operation and monitoring of our specialised dealcoholisation and wine filtration equipment.
- You will perform essential cellar operations, including the safe loading/unloading of bulk wine tankers, making product additions, and handling spirit transfers.
- Conducting routine wine analysis to monitor process quality and make necessary adjustments will be part of your daily tasks.
- You will perform basic preventative maintenance and cleaning on equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of all processing activities is crucial for quality control and traceability.
- This role requires flexibility to work a rotating roster across days, afternoons, and nights (up to 24/5 operations) as our business expands.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced operator who is adaptable and eager to learn new technology.
- Proven experience in the wine industry with a solid understanding of modern cellar operations is essential.
- You must be able to work independently, show initiative, and have the aptitude to operate complex winery equipment.
- A current driver’s licence and a valid forklift licence are mandatory requirements for this role.
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and meticulous attention to detail is non-negotiable.
- The flexibility and willingness to work a rotating shift roster, including night shifts, is required. Full training on our specific MemLo systems will be provided.
