Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our agile manufacturing team, you will take ownership of bringing our advanced products together. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling complex electrical, mechanical, and electronic components across multiple product lines with a meticulous focus on quality and precision.
- Supporting stock optimisation, materials management, and product testing, including validation and quality control procedures.
- Providing valuable technical guidance and mentoring to more junior team members, helping to uplift overall team capability.
- Contributing actively to process improvements and occasionally stepping into project supervisory roles to ensure we meet deadlines.
- Applying your strong problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment to deliver innovative, reliable solutions.
Qualifications
We are looking for a technician with a solid foundation and a collaborative spirit. The essentials are:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar manufacturing, assembly, or technician role.
- Direct experience with automotive systems and or automated machinery.
- A strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering tolerances, and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
- Excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience using MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) systems.
- Outstanding people and communication skills, with a focus on both internal teamwork and external customer satisfaction.
While not mandatory, the following would be highly advantageous:
- A tertiary qualification in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, electronics, or robotics.
- A forklift licence and electrical workers registration.
- Practical experience with Linux, SolidWorks, and Lean Manufacturing tools like 5S.
