Key Responsibilities
You will play a key role in the daily logistics chain, ensuring goods are delivered and handled efficiently.
- Your primary duty will be safely operating an automatic LR truck to make deliveries to various job sites and customer locations around the local area.
- At the depot, you will operate a forklift to load your truck in the morning and unload incoming goods in the afternoon.
- You will assist the wider warehouse team with general duties, including picking orders, packing, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- The role involves regular manual handling, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 20kg.
- Following all safety procedures for both driving and warehouse operations is an absolute priority.
Qualifications
We are looking for a dependable candidate who meets the essential licencing and experience requirements.
- You must hold a current, valid LR (Light Rigid) driver’s licence and be confident driving an automatic truck.
- A current LF Forklift licence is mandatory for this role.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or delivery driver position is required.
- You must be physically fit, reliable, punctual, and have a strong focus on workplace safety.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions is essential.
