Key Responsibilities
- Operate washers, dryers, and dry-cleaning machines, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint filters
- Inspect linens and guest clothing for stains or damage, treating, re-washing, or discarding as necessary
- Sort, fold, and organize clean items manually or using machinery
- Schedule drying times and temperatures according to fabric types
- Maintain accurate records of items washed and ironed
- Perform other housekeeping duties and support team goals as needed
- Adhere to Marriott safety policies, report maintenance issues or hazards, and complete safety training
- Ensure professional appearance and maintain confidentiality of company property and information
- Assist team members respectfully and support collective goals
- Lift, move, and transport objects under 25 lbs; perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and working in confined or elevated spaces
Requirements
- No formal education required (high school diploma or GED not mandatory)
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a positive work attitude
- Ability to work full-time day shifts with open availability
Compensation and Benefits
