Key Responsibilities

• The Housekeeping Attendant will help keep guest rooms and hotel areas clean, tidy, and welcoming every day. They will make sure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.

• Clean guest rooms by replacing dirty linens, towels, and supplies with fresh ones
• Make beds neatly and fold linens carefully to keep rooms looking nice
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, and showers
• Remove trash, dirty linens, and used room service items from guest rooms
• Check that all appliances in the room are working and report any problems
• Dust and polish furniture, walls, and decorations to keep the rooms spotless
• Push and pull cleaning carts safely around the hotel, even on uneven floors
• Follow safety rules and company policies to keep yourself and guests safe
• Greet guests politely and respond quickly to their requests or questions
• Help teammates and other departments when extra hands are needed to complete tasks

Qualifications/Skills

• Japanese language skills are required to communicate well with guests and team members
• No formal education like a high school diploma is needed for this role
• Able to follow instructions carefully and work safely around cleaning equipment
• Good attention to detail to make sure rooms are clean and everything is in place
• Able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds and work on your feet for long periods
• Friendly and polite with strong skills in greeting and helping hotel guests
• Able to work well with others and support teammates to reach common goals
• Willing to learn and follow The Ritz-Carlton’s high standards for service and cleanliness

Required Experience

• No previous work experience is needed to apply for this housekeeping role
• Able to follow company rules and safety procedures while working every day
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail matters
• Experience with cleaning or housekeeping is a plus but not required
• Able to handle physical tasks like lifting, bending, and pushing cleaning carts
• Good communication skills to talk clearly and politely with guests and team members
• Willingness to learn new tasks and improve skills to help the hotel run smoothly
