Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be a key player in keeping Western Australia’s agricultural industry moving.
- Your primary duty is to safely operate heavy vehicle combinations in full compliance with all national road laws, regulations, and company policies.
- You will be responsible for the careful loading, securement, and transport of bulk agricultural products like grain and stock feed.
- Performing thorough pre-start checks and maintaining detailed logbooks and paperwork is a daily requirement.
- You will work seamlessly within our close-knit transport team, communicating effectively with dispatch, loaders, and other drivers.
- Adhering strictly to fatigue management regulations and all workplace health and safety protocols is absolutely essential.
Qualifications
We are looking for a safe, professional driver who meets these non-negotiable criteria.
- You must hold a current, unrestricted Heavy Combination (HC) driver’s licence.
- Confident, proven experience driving with an 18-speed Road Ranger gearbox, using the clutch, is an essential requirement. Your skills will be assessed.
- A demonstrated dedication to safety compliance, reliability, and punctuality.
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability to work a variety of shifts to meet customer demand.
- You must be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and ongoing drug/alcohol testing.
