- Location: Carole Park, Queensland, Australia – a great place for manufacturing jobs with easy access to nearby areas
- Job type: Full-time
- Shifts: Day and night shifts; rotating shift pattern
- Schedules: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts (exact hours to be confirmed)
- Salary type: Hourly
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a forklift to move, load, and unload building materials
- Check the forklift every day before using it
- Place gluts under packs to help with loading
- Split and sort damaged or mixed-up packs
- Fix leaning stacks and check how high they are
- Keep track of materials using simple forms and reports
- Collect sample pieces from rejected materials
- Help lift and carry items by hand, up to 20kg
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Follow all safety rules and work well with the team
- Be flexible with tasks and ready to help where needed
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills
- A valid forklift license with at least 12 months of experience
- A current driver’s license and your own transport
- Good understanding of safety rules at work
- Able to lift and carry items up to 20kg
- Willing to do hands-on work around the plant
- Great attention to detail and good teamwork skills
- Able to work rotating shifts, including day and night
- Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Comfortable filling out simple forms and reports
- Strong communication skills with other team members
- Willing to learn and be trained as a Machine Operator
