Location & Work Schedule

Shift Options:
- Day Shift (Part-Time to Full-Time):
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Minimum 24 hours per week to start, with progression to full-time based on production demand. - Evening Shift (Full-Time):
Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Includes a $1/hour evening shift premium.
Key Responsibilities
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in material handling, order fulfillment, and production support.
- Safely operate diesel, electric, or propane-powered forklifts to transport goods
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and production lines
- Assemble, shrink-wrap, and prepare customer orders for accurate shipping
- Inspect and verify packages to ensure quality and order accuracy
- Supply raw materials to truss and joist production areas
- Conduct inventory checks and maintain organized product storage
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of the yard and warehouse areas
- Support new employee training when needed
- Adhere strictly to Qualico’s Safety Program and report violations or hazards
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of middle school education
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations
- Minimum 6 months of forklift operation experience
- Physically fit—able to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, crouch, and work outdoors
- Successful completion of a criminal record check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification
- Experience in a lumberyard or building materials environment
