Location & Work Type
- Location: Tokyo and Kyushu, Japan – Exciting, vibrant places with rich culture and beautiful scenery
- Job type: Full-time, 12-month contract
- Shifts: To be confirmed
- Schedules: Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Teach fun and simple English lessons to young children
- Use games, songs, and stories to help kids learn new words
- Plan and prepare easy classroom activities each week
- Support children as they practice speaking and listening in English
- Help students build confidence and enjoy learning
- Keep the classroom safe, clean, and friendly
- Join training sessions to learn new teaching tips
- Talk with other teachers and staff to share ideas and solve problems
- Take part in school events or special activities when needed
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills
- Must be a fluent English speaker
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject
- Must be from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
- Must enjoy working with young children
- Must be able to commit to a full 12-month contract
- Must have a positive, outgoing attitude
- Preferred Skills
- Experience working with kids (babysitting, tutoring, camps, etc.)
- Interest in Japanese language or culture
- Ability to plan fun, creative lessons
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- No teaching experience needed—training will be provided in Japan
- Open to learning new things and growing as a teacher
