Driver Taskify Japan

Taskify is looking for responsible drivers to join its growing team. You’ll be driving customers around town — airport runs, local drop-offs, day or night shifts. The best part? You choose your hours. Some drivers are earning between $3,000 and $4,000 USD a month, depending on how much time they put in. This role is ideal for anyone who’s familiar with the streets, knows how to use GPS, and enjoys a bit of independence. You won’t need to report to an office or deal with any complicated scheduling. As long as you drive safely, show up for your pick-ups, and treat customers well, you’ll do great.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and drop off passengers safely.
  • Use GPS or your own route knowledge to plan trips.
  • Communicate clearly with passengers — a friendly hello goes a long way.
  • Keep your vehicle clean and ready before shifts.
  • Handle basic payment steps if required (cash/card/app).
  • Occasionally speak with dispatch if something changes.
  • Stay calm in traffic — reliability is key.
  • Keep track of your rides and time worked.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

No formal education is required for this role.

Experience

You should be comfortable behind the wheel and have at least 1 year of regular driving experience. Past work in taxi, delivery, or ride-share helps, but isn’t a must.

License

You must have a valid Japanese driver’s license and a good driving history — no major violations or suspensions in the past few years.

Skills

  • Can handle basic customer interactions politely
  • Know how to use mobile navigation apps (like Google Maps or Waze)
  • Familiar with local traffic rules and routes
  • Can carry small luggage if needed (up to 20kg)
  • Able to stay focused even on longer drives
