Responsibilities
- Work safely in a mining or civil construction environment following company procedures and policies
- Daily 360° inspection of all equipment for operational and safety checks
- Pre-inspection of equipment includes checking all fluid level and ensuring they are topped up as needed
- Accurately complete all work reports and maintenance logs as required
- Follow equipment maintenance schedule and advise if repair is required
- Regularly perform safety inspection of equipment and tools
- Support operations through manual labour, including shoveling, operating powered equipment, loading and unloading of miscellaneous supplies and equipment, light maintenance, and other duties as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
- No formal education requirement; training provided on-site.
- Completion of mandatory online orientation and certification programs.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CAT Dozers in construction or mining environments.
- Experience with other heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with mining operations is a plus.
Skills
- Proficient in GPS machine control systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment inspections.
- Ability to perform manual labour tasks when needed.
- Effective verbal communication for teamwork on-site.
- Capability to follow safety protocols rigorously.
Knowledge
- Understanding of Field Level Hazard Assessment procedures.
- Knowledge of civil construction and road-building processes.
- Awareness of equipment maintenance schedules and documentation.

- General knowledge of site logistics and crew coordination.
