Key Responsibilities
- Visit homes or offices to clean rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms so everything looks neat and fresh
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors to keep them clean and dust-free
- Dust furniture, shelves, and surfaces so the space feels tidy and comfortable
- Take out trash and replace bin liners to keep the area smelling clean
- Make beds and tidy bedrooms to help create a peaceful space for clients
- Wipe down kitchen counters, appliances, and sinks so they shine and are safe to use
- Clean showers, bathtubs, toilets, and mirrors to make bathrooms spotless
- Follow special cleaning steps for NDIS clients to make sure they are safe and cared for
- Use company cleaning tools and supplies in the right way for the best results
- Talk kindly and clearly with clients and team members when needed
- Follow safety rules during every cleaning job to protect yourself and others
Requirements
- Must Have Skills
- You need to be friendly, reliable, and enjoy helping others with cleaning tasks
- You must have your own car and a valid driver’s license to get to different job locations
- You should be available at least 3 days a week between Monday and Friday
- You need to be comfortable doing physical work like vacuuming, mopping, and lifting light items
- You should be able to follow instructions and work on your own or with a team
- If you have at least 3 months of cleaning experience in homes or offices, that is great—but not required
- Preferred Qualifications
- Some experience with NDIS disability cleaning or bond cleaning is helpful
- Past work in domestic or commercial cleaning will be a plus
- Being open to training and learning new cleaning skills is a good bonus
