Key Responsibilities

  • Visit homes or offices to clean rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms so everything looks neat and fresh
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors to keep them clean and dust-free
  • Dust furniture, shelves, and surfaces so the space feels tidy and comfortable
  • Take out trash and replace bin liners to keep the area smelling clean
  • Make beds and tidy bedrooms to help create a peaceful space for clients
  • Wipe down kitchen counters, appliances, and sinks so they shine and are safe to use
  • Clean showers, bathtubs, toilets, and mirrors to make bathrooms spotless
  • Follow special cleaning steps for NDIS clients to make sure they are safe and cared for

Requirements

  • Must Have Skills
  • You need to be friendly, reliable, and enjoy helping others with cleaning tasks
  • You must have your own car and a valid driver’s license to get to different job locations
  • You should be available at least 3 days a week between Monday and Friday
  • You need to be comfortable doing physical work like vacuuming, mopping, and lifting light items
  • You should be able to follow instructions and work on your own or with a team
  • If you have at least 3 months of cleaning experience in homes or offices, that is great—but not required
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience with NDIS disability cleaning or bond cleaning is helpful
  • Past work in domestic or commercial cleaning will be a plus
  • Being open to training and learning new cleaning skills is a good bonus
