Location & Work Type

• Location: Dandenong, Victoria, Australia – a busy area with great access to local services and transport
• Job type: Full-time, permanent position
• Schedules: Monday to Friday
• Salary type: Paid per delivery and based on safety performance (driver incentive scheme)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a truck to deliver gas cylinders to homes and businesses
• Load and unload cylinders safely using the right tools
• Use a handheld scanner to track deliveries and update stock
• Refill LPG cylinders when needed
• Follow a set delivery schedule and stay on time
• Talk with customers and give great service with a positive attitude
• Check delivery paperwork and make sure it’s correct
• Keep the truck clean and in good condition
• Help out with other warehouse or delivery jobs if asked
• Always follow safety rules to keep yourself and others safe

Requirements

• Must-Have Skills
• MR or HR truck driver’s license
• At least 1 year of experience doing multi-drop deliveries
• Good fitness level (the job includes lifting and moving gas cylinders)
• Friendly attitude and strong customer service skills
• Able to work extra hours when needed
• Clean driving record (you’ll need to provide a Demerit Points Statement)
• Pass a National Police Check
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical exam
• Preferred Skills
• Forklift license (helpful but not required)
• Experience using a handheld scanner or delivery app
• Knowledge of gas cylinder safety (training can be provided)
• Good time management and teamwork skills
