Key Responsibilities

  • Operate mobile cranes like 25T Franna and larger Liebherr cranes to lift and move heavy items safely
  • Drive transport trucks, including prime movers with road ranger gearboxes, between different work sites
  • Use trailers like flat tops, drop decks, and floats to carry large or heavy loads from place to place
  • Travel to different Pilbara sites when needed, even if it’s not your usual work location
  • Work night shifts when the business needs it, following the schedule given
  • Help and support new team members by showing them how to do tasks safely and the right way
  • Always follow safety rules and make sure your area, tools, and machines are safe to use
  • Talk clearly with team members and work well with others to get the job done
  • Use technology like Bluetooth systems and Vario Base when working with equipment
  • Understand and follow transport rules, road permits, and the Chain of Responsibility laws

Requirements

  • Must Have Skills
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with cranes or transport trucks in a similar role
  • A valid HC (Heavy Combination) driver’s license so you can drive large vehicles
  • High Risk Work Licenses like C0, CN, RB, DG, and LF, which let you safely operate cranes and other machines
  • Good teamwork skills and the ability to listen, share ideas, and work well with others
  • Clear communication skills to talk with your team and stay safe on the job
  • A strong focus on safety—for yourself, your team, and your work area
  • Able to follow clear steps and procedures to do tasks correctly and safely
  • Willingness to work night shifts and travel to different work sites as needed
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using mobile cranes like 55T, 130T, 150T, 300T, or 450T Liebherr
  • Some experience with prime movers and trailers such as drop decks, floats, and semi-trailers
  • Knowledge of Main Roads permits and understanding of Chain of Responsibility rules
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, emails, SAP systems, and other computer tools
  • Interest in upgrading to an MC (Multi Combination) truck license for future road train work
