Courier Driver Awanui Group New Zealand

There’s a position open in Auckland for a Courier Driver with Awanui Group. It’s a full-time, fixed-term role offering around 85 hours per fortnight. The job mainly involves picking up medical samples and supplies from clinics around the city and delivering them back to the lab in Mount Wellington. You’ll also be running deliveries to doctors and other collection sites, so you’ll be out on the road most of the day. To do well in this job, you’ll need to be reliable, physically fit, and good with people. The driving part is important, but so is making sure everything is handled with care. You’ll need a full Class 1 NZ licence and a clean driving record. Knowing your way around Auckland helps too, but what matters most is being safe, on time, and respectful — especially when you’re handling health-related materials.

Responsibilities

• Drive across Auckland picking up lab samples from clinics and collection points.
• Deliver specimens to the Mount Wellington laboratory safely and promptly.
• Drop off store items and paperwork to different medical locations.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle carefully.
• Log each pick-up and delivery accurately.
• Follow schedules while keeping safety and patient privacy top of mind.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience

No specific years needed, but some background in courier or delivery work is helpful.

• Good sense of direction and basic time planning.
