Key Responsibilities
- Keep the concrete plant and yard clean and tidy every day.
- Help fix and maintain equipment to keep the plant running smoothly.
- Operate small tools and machines safely for daily tasks.
- Support making and moving concrete blocks for inventory.
- Work with team members to add special products to concrete mixes.
- Follow all safety rules to keep everyone safe on the job.
- Join in on cool projects to improve the plant and make it better.
- Check and organize materials to help with production and repairs.
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills
- Have a high school diploma or something similar to show you finished school.
- Know a bit about construction work to help with plant tasks.
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record.
- Be physically fit to work in a busy industrial setting.
- Talk and work well with a team to get jobs done.
- Care about safety and follow rules to keep everyone safe.
- Preferred Skills
- Safety training certificates are a bonus, but Lafarge Canada offers training.
