Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a Class 4 vehicle safely to deliver ready mix concrete to customers in the Marlborough region.
  • Follow all safety rules and wear the full uniform and protective gear provided by the company.
  • Communicate clearly and politely with customers when delivering concrete and answering any questions they may have.
  • Check the vehicle before and after trips to make sure it is in good working condition and report any problems.
  • Manage time well to make sure deliveries arrive on schedule, including early morning starts when needed.
  • Help load and unload concrete when required, making sure to handle all materials carefully.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and any incidents during the workday.
  • Work with the team to maintain a clean and safe work environment around the concrete plant and delivery vehicles.

Requirements

  • Must Have Skills
  • Hold a valid and current Class 4 driver’s license to operate heavy vehicles safely.
  • Be reliable and punctual, showing up on time for all shifts, including early mornings when needed.
