Re.Group is looking for a skilled Combilift Driver to join their team in Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland. This full-time role is key to keeping things moving at the Materials Recovery Facility. The driver will safely move long or bulky items using a combilift, load and unload materials, and help keep the worksite running smoothly. Location & Work Type

  • Location: Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland, New Zealand – a growing city with a focus on sustainability and community.
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent position
  • Shifts: Afternoon shift, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Salary Type: Hourly pay, with overtime allowances if applicable

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a Combilift safely to move materials around the site
  • Carry long or heavy loads through narrow spaces without damage
  • Load and unload items from trucks, storage, or work areas
  • Check the Combilift every day to make sure it’s working well
  • Report any damage, safety issues, or problems to your supervisor
  • Follow all safety rules and wear the right protective gear
  • Help team members with other warehouse or yard tasks when needed
  • Keep work areas clean and clear to prevent accidents
  • Work closely with others to make sure everything runs smoothly

Requirements

  • Must-Have Skills
  • Valid Class 2 forklift license
  • Experience driving a Combilift or similar forklift
  • Good awareness of space and surroundings
  • Able to work safely and follow instructions
  • Comfortable working both alone and with a team
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse or yard safety rules
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience in waste management, recycling, or manufacturing
  • Able to do other yard or warehouse tasks when not driving
  • Good communication skills with team members
  • Training is available for the right person with a great attitude
  • Interest in helping the environment and supporting a clean, safe workplace
