Location and Work Type
- On-site role located in Chuo-ku, Chiba City, just a 4-minute walk from Soga Station
- Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Car commuting allowed (free parking available)
- Must be available on national holidays, though weekends are off
- This role involves local travel within Chiba City using a clinic-provided compact vehicle
What Will You Do?
- Drive doctors to patient homes or care facilities across Chiba City
- Manage vehicle cleanliness, condition, and safety checks
- Transport light medical equipment and supplies during visits
- Perform pre-departure and end-of-day checks on the clinic vehicle
- Communicate clearly with doctors, nurses, and medical support staff
- Support route planning and time coordination to ensure punctuality
- Handle basic maintenance issues or report them promptly
- Document trip summaries or vehicle logs as required
Requirements: Must-Have Skills
- Valid Japanese driver’s license (AT-only OK)
- Safe driving record with no recent violations
- Ability to navigate urban and suburban routes
- Comfortable operating compact kei cars
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physically fit for light lifting and extended driving hours
- Ability to follow instructions and coordinate within a team
- Commitment to professionalism and punctuality
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in medical transport or clinic driving
- Familiarity with home visit healthcare
- Knowledge of basic car maintenance
- Background in elderly care or patient transport
