Bidfood is currently hiring a class 1 delivery driver to join his team in Pamersten North Central, New Zealand. The role pays $ 28 or more per hour depending on the experience. Class 1 Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver foodservice and fresh produce orders to various customer locations.
• Start work at 5:00 AM, ensuring timely deliveries throughout the day.
• Load and unload delivery items with care and accuracy.
• Represent Bidfood professionally when interacting with clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and follow company safety procedures.
• Work Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

No specific education required.

Experience

Experience in courier driving or hospitality preferred but not required.
Minimum of 1 year of driving experience is an asset.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual and responsible.

Knowledge

• Safe driving and delivery procedures.
