- Pay Rates (Casual):
- Monday–Friday: $31.23/hr
- Saturday: $37.47/hr
- Sunday: $43.72/hr
What Will You Do?
As a Casual Housekeeper, you’ll play a key role in delivering the high standards guests expect from Oaks. Your responsibilities include:
- Cleaning guest rooms and public areas to brand standards
- Making beds, changing linens, and replenishing amenities
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Ensuring rooms are cleaned within daily quotas and timeframes
- Following health, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times
- Working with the team to keep the hotel’s atmosphere warm, tidy, and welcoming
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and self-driven with a professional attitude
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential—training is provided
- Valid working rights in Australia or New Zealand are essential
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures
- Experience with time-managed cleaning tasks in hospitality or commercial settings
- Comfortable handling cleaning equipment, products, and linens
