Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance in clients’ homes, performing tasks such as kitchen and bathroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Assist with basic meal preparation and laundry duties as outlined in individual client care plans.
  • Help maintain a hygienic, tidy, and safe living environment for clients.
  • Build positive, respectful, and supportive relationships with clients.
  • Work reliably within scheduled hours (e.g., Tuesday – Thursday, 0900-1500) and communicate effectively with the coordinating team.
  • Respect client privacy, dignity, and independence at all times.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • A caring, reliable, and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Must have: Reliable transport and a current, clean New Zealand restricted or full driver’s licence.
  • Must have: The legal right to work in New Zealand.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn this is an entry-level role with full training provided.
  • Availability to work the scheduled hours (preference for candidates who can also work through school holidays).
