Responsibilities
- Operate buses safely on scheduled routes across the Perth area.
- Interact with passengers in a helpful, polite manner.
- Follow road safety laws and company policies.
- Assist people boarding and leaving the bus when needed.
- Keep track of driving times, breaks, and vehicle checks.
- Report any faults or issues to the maintenance team.
- Stay flexible with split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education & Licence
- Must hold a valid C-A driver’s licence in Australia
- Must be willing to obtain or already have an HR licence
- Working With Children Check or ability to get one
Experience
- Bus or commercial driving experience is helpful, but not essential
- Familiarity with Perth roads is a bonus
Skills
- Good communicator who can stay calm with passengers
- Able to stick to timetables and stay focused during long hours
- Willingness to work a rotating roster including night or weekend shifts
- Strong awareness of safety and road rules
