Located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, our resorts include over 600 rooms and 15 Food and Beverage outlets, with plans to grow to more than 1200 rooms across five properties. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Greet Every Guest with Warmth: You’ll be one of the first people guests see when they arrive. A genuine smile, a friendly hello, and using their name when possible sets the tone for their entire stay.
  • Open Doors and Assist with Luggage: From opening car doors to helping with bags, you’ll make arrivals and departures smooth and stress-free.
  • Park and Retrieve Vehicles Safely: You’ll handle guest cars with care, following strict key security standards and ensuring vehicles are ready when needed.
  • Provide Transportation: When guests need a ride to local areas, you’ll be behind the wheel, representing Dollywood with every trip.
  • Familiarize Guests with Their Surroundings: Walk guests to their rooms, show them around, and explain what the resort and conference center have to offer.
  • Deliver Messages, Packages, and Amenities: Prompt and accurate delivery shows guests we’re paying attention to the details.
  • Maintain a Clean, Orderly Lobby and Entrance: The front of the house should always look its best. You’ll help keep it that way.
  • Stay Ready to Assist: Whether it’s a question, a request, or a concern, you’ll be in the lobby ready to help guests and co-workers at any time.
  • Coordinate with the Front Desk: Stay informed about arrivals, departures, and any special guest needs.
  • Know the Park: Guests will ask about Dollywood. You’ll have the answers—or know where to find them.
  • Keep Safety Front and Mind: Watch for hazards, report suspicious behaviour immediately, and maintain safety conditions at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  • Customer Service Experience Required: You’ve worked with people before and understand what it takes to make them feel valued.
  • Valid Driver’s License with Clean Record: You’ll be driving guest vehicles and company vehicles, so this is essential.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge Preferred: Helpful but not required—we can train you.
  • Friendly, Genuine, and Caring: You don’t have to fake it. A naturally warm personality is what guests remember.
  • Self-Motivated and Disciplined: You see what needs to be done and do it without being asked.
  • Team-Oriented: You help co-workers, cooperate, and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Flexible Schedule: Evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed—this role requires availability when guests need us most.
  • Professional Appearance: You take pride in how you look and present yourself.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You can talk to guests and co-workers clearly and effectively.
  • Able to Work in Varying Weather: Some tasks are outdoors, in heat or cold. You need to be comfortable with that.
  • Physically Capable: Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and handle the physical demands of the role.
  • Able to Pass Background Check and Drug Screen: Required for all hosts.

Pay and Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $12.00 per hour
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Shift and Schedule: Evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Work Location: In person at Dollywood Resorts, Great Smoky Mountains, East Tennessee
