- Location: Crestmead, Queensland, Australia – a growing industrial area near Brisbane
- Job type: Full-time, permanent position
- Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM; Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Schedules: Monday to Friday only, no weekend work
- Salary type: Hourly pay
Key Responsibilities
- Use an overhead crane to safely unload trucks
- Move and place large metal coils using the crane
- Operate a forklift when needed for moving materials
- Follow all safety rules and report any problems right away
- Keep work areas clean and clear to help everything run smoothly
- Help with other warehouse and yard tasks when needed
- Work closely with the team to finish daily jobs on time
- Check equipment before use to make sure it’s working right
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills
- Valid crane license with hands-on experience
- Valid forklift license with experience driving in a work yard
- Good understanding of health and safety rules
- Able to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a steel or metal warehouse
- Confidence using tools or machines in a safe way
- Able to spot problems early and fix them or ask for help
- Good time management to keep tasks on track
- Training is available for the right person who shows a great attitude and willingness to learn
