Location & Work Type

  • Location: Crestmead, Queensland, Australia – a growing industrial area near Brisbane
  • Job type: Full-time, permanent position
  • Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM; Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Schedules: Monday to Friday only, no weekend work
  • Salary type: Hourly pay

Key Responsibilities

  • Use an overhead crane to safely unload trucks
  • Move and place large metal coils using the crane
  • Operate a forklift when needed for moving materials
  • Follow all safety rules and report any problems right away
  • Keep work areas clean and clear to help everything run smoothly
  • Help with other warehouse and yard tasks when needed
  • Work closely with the team to finish daily jobs on time
  • Check equipment before use to make sure it’s working right

Requirements

  • Must-Have Skills
  • Valid crane license with hands-on experience
  • Valid forklift license with experience driving in a work yard
  • Good understanding of health and safety rules
  • Able to follow instructions and work well in a team
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in a steel or metal warehouse
  • Confidence using tools or machines in a safe way
  • Able to spot problems early and fix them or ask for help
  • Good time management to keep tasks on track
