We’re looking for a Snail Farm Tour Ambassador to welcome visitors of all ages from wide-eyed children to curious seniors and share the fascinating world of snail farming. You’ll guide tours, answer questions, and help people understand where their food comes from and why sustainable farming matters. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and don’t mind getting up close with live snails, this part-time role offers something truly unique.

About the Company
We’re a specialist snail farming operation in Singapore, dedicated to sustainable food production and educating the public about where their food comes from. Our farm is a working production facility, but it’s also a place where visitors can learn, ask questions, and connect with the process of farming in a way they never have before. We believe in transparency, education, and making farming accessible. If you share that belief and enjoy talking to people, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead Engaging Tours: You’ll guide visitors through the farm, sharing interesting facts about snail farming, sustainability, and how we produce our products. Every tour should be informative, friendly, and memorable.
- Connect with All Ages: From young children on school visits to seniors exploring something new, you’ll adapt your style to suit your audience and keep everyone engaged.
- Keep Visitors Safe and Comfortable: You’ll make sure everyone follows safety guidelines, stays where they should, and has a positive experience from start to finish.
- Set Up and Clean Up: Before and after tours, you’ll help prepare the tour areas and tidy up afterwards. It’s a team effort.
- Answer Questions and Handle Inquiries: Visitors will have plenty of questions. You’ll answer them clearly and enthusiastically, or find out the answer if you don’t know.
- Report Feedback: If visitors share feedback or you notice something that could be improved, you’ll pass it on to the supervisor.
- Support Farm Operations When Needed: Sometimes you might lend a hand with basic farm tasks—part of being a flexible, helpful team member.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience Preferred but Not Essential: If you’ve guided tours, worked in education, or spent time in hospitality, that’s great. But if you’re new and have the right attitude, we’re happy to train you.
- Enjoy Working with All Ages: You genuinely like interacting with children and elderly visitors. Patience and warmth go a long way.
- Friendly and Outgoing: You’re comfortable striking up conversations, speaking to groups, and making people feel welcome.
- Clear Communicator: You can explain things in simple, interesting terms that anyone can understand.
- Physically Able: Tours involve walking and standing for extended periods. You need to be comfortable with that.
- Flexible and Reliable: Hours can vary from week to week (3–12 hours), so we need someone who can adapt and show up when scheduled.
- Comfortable with Live Snails: This is a working snail farm. You’ll be around live snails regularly, so you need to be okay with that no exceptions.
