Here is an opportunity for a reliable and committed Cleaner to join the team at Palm Lake Resort Bargara. As a Full Time permanent team member working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 6 am and 5 pm, your work will be essential to ensuring our resort facilities are clean, presentable, and organised for residents and visitors at all times. Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain common areas such as the pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, and library.
- Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and rubbish removal.
- Ensure toilet facilities are cleaned to a hygienic standard.
- Clean internal windows and ensure equipment like refrigerators and microwaves are spotless.
- Tidy kitchen areas, including emptying dishwashers and wiping surfaces.
- Replenish supplies such as coffee, tea, and other consumables.
- Identify and eliminate hazards, such as slippery floors or obstacles, to ensure safety.
- Clean stock and display homes for potential purchasers.
- Perform weekly tasks such as cleaning light switches, power points, door frames, and dusting cobwebs.
- Complete other cleaning duties as directed by the resort managers.
What We’re Looking For
- A current Australian Drivers Licence.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Prior cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage a cleaning schedule effectively.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to ensuring the resort is always at its best.
