Key Responsibilities
You’ll be out in the community every day, bringing technology to life in our customers’ homes.
- Your main task will be visiting homes to professionally install and configure new televisions, sound systems, and smart home devices.
- You will provide expert troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing any technical issues customers have with their existing or new equipment.
- Installing and aligning UHF TV aerials and satellite dishes will be a key part of your skill set.
- A major part of the role is delivering exceptional customer service, patiently explaining how systems work and ensuring clients are confident using their new technology.
- You will maintain a high standard of workmanship, adhere to all safety protocols, and keep your company vehicle and tools clean and organised.
Qualifications
We are looking for a technician who combines solid skills with great people skills.
- Proven experience as a TV/home entertainment installation technician is essential, with a strong understanding of AV systems and basic networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to explain technical details in a friendly, clear way.
- A valid driver’s licence and the right to work in New Zealand are mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality are must-haves.
- A working at heights qualification is a significant advantage for aerial work.
