Key Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Technician, you are key to our operational success. Your primary focus will be to minimise downtime and ensure safety through:
- Conducting routine inspections and performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of production equipment, including mixers, conveyors, packing machines, motors, and gearboxes.
- Promptly troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to keep the production line running smoothly.
- Ensuring all machinery is properly calibrated, adjusted, and operating efficiently and safely according to stringent standards.
- Accurately maintaining records of all inspections, repairs, parts used, and equipment status for reporting and planning.
- Following and enforcing all workplace safety procedures, including the proper handling of materials and maintaining a safe environment for all personnel.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable technician with a solid foundation. The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant role such as mechanical engineering, fabrication, fitting/turning, electrical work, or industrial maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or pneumatic systems used in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- The physical stamina to perform the role, which can involve lifting and working in an active industrial setting.
- A strong, unwavering commitment to workplace safety and equipment handling best practices.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and security check.

- Earn a competitive hourly rate between $30 and $45, depending on your experience, with a guaranteed 40-hour week and estimated weekly earnings of $1,200 – $1,800.
