Key Responsibilities
You’ll work as part of a crew to perform a variety of tasks that keep gardens and grounds in top condition.
- Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as mowing small lawns, weeding, pruning, and hedge trimming.
- Help develop new garden beds and landscapes, and perform hands-on vegetation control.
- Carry out general labour duties as required to support the team and maintain site tidiness.
- Work safely and collaboratively, following all health and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of yourself, your team, and village residents.
- Interact respectfully and positively with residents when on site.
- Use and maintain gardening tools and equipment appropriately after instruction.
Qualifications
We are looking for dependable individuals with the right attitude and availability.
- A full, current driver’s licence is essential, and you must be able to drive a manual vehicle confidently.
- A solid work ethic, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and reliability.
- Good physical fitness to handle the manual demands of gardening work.
- Good communication skills and a respectful, friendly manner.
- A willingness to learn and adhere to health and safety practices.
- No formal gardening experience is required.
