About the Role And HelloFresh

At HelloFresh, we are on a mission to change the way people eat, forever. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will play a direct role in our logistics, ensuring the quality ingredients for thousands of meal kits across Canada are received, stored, and handled correctly. This is a 100% onsite role with a unique schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, at our facility on 5491 Timberlea Blvd., Mississauga. Your leadership will be key to our operational success during this contract period.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be the on-the-floor leader, driving daily warehouse activities and team performance. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Supervising, coaching, and motivating the warehouse team in all receiving, staging, and inventory control activities to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Organizing and maintaining strict inventory and stock control within a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C).
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and compliant with all food safety and OH&S standards.
  • Operating and ensuring team compliance with all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), requiring valid certification.
  • Generating and analyzing reports to track KPIs, providing daily updates on status, issues, and progress.
  • Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with system operations, equipment maintenance coordination, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Upholding a high-visibility leadership style, working alongside the team to solve problems and ensure timely workflow.

What You Bring (Minimum Requirements)

To be successful in this contract leadership role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 1-3 years of hands-on warehouse experience, preferably in food processing, manufacturing, or a similar service industry.
  • A valid Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Certification is required.
  • Proven experience with inventory management and control systems.
  • Strong proficiency with basic computer tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • The physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for prolonged periods, and work in a cold, refrigerated environment.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a relentless focus on food safety and quality accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work the required Tuesday-Saturday afternoon schedule and overtime as needed.
