Key Responsibilities
You will play a critical role in refining our world-class products through rigorous testing and creative exploration. Your duties will include:
- Executing and providing feedback on detailed testing protocols under the mentorship of our QA Lead.
- Creatively identifying and documenting edge cases and potential product vulnerabilities beyond standard test plans.
- Operating electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to conduct performance, reliability, and integration tests.
- Testing key product features such as setup, streaming services (AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify), surround sound decoding (Dolby Atmos, DTS:X), and control interfaces.
- Verifying seamless performance across countless device configurations with various TVs, consoles, and speaker setups.
- Collaborating with engineering and design teams to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
- Writing detailed, reproducible bug reports and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing strategies.
Qualifications
We value practical passion and a sharp, inquisitive mind. The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong, demonstrated interest in consumer electronics, especially audio/AV products.
- A curious, innovative, and detail-oriented mindset with a knack for thinking outside the box.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with streaming technologies like Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and Spotify.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) is a significant asset.
- A competitive hourly rate between $27.00 and $33.00.
- Hands-on experience with electronic test tools or soldering is a plus.
- Formal education in electronics is beneficial but not required—we prioritize skill and passion.
